IUD bleeding

Hi! I got the mirena IUD a little over a year ago and up until a few months ago i spotted constantly. I get my period very irregular. About every 2 months I’m bleeding alot and i have been recently sexually active and i am not sure if it is normal for my period to be bleeding more than usual or i should get it checked out? Any advice or observations would help! Is this a sign that my iud could have slipped out of place or is it normal?
