Baby buys... car seats

Hi all, I’m a nervous first time mum desperately trying to get everything in line and organised before my new arrival greets us in Feb!

I’m looking at car seats at the moment and wondered if anyone has used the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus?

If so I’m reluctant to spend out so much on the 2way isofix base and wondered if anyone had worked it with the slightly cheaper family fix base? I’m reading very contradictory things on the net about whether or not it will fit?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
