What age did you give your little man his first haircut?

Let me first say that I loooovee my little bubs hair, and it pains me to even consider trimming his shiny, soft, precious baby curls,  but he’s one now, and it’s getting pretty scruffy around his ears ... just looking for some feedback on what you mamas have already done! 
Also, where should I take him, a salon? He’s pretty squirmy so I don’t know how well this will work! Advice below please! :)

His first haircut was at 16 months, we only did it for the experience—we were in Disney World and they have a barber shop that does great first haircuts with a special Mickey hat he got to keep and a certificate and a lock of his hair. It was adorable. He’s 2 now and we haven’t cut it since. I sometimes think about it but he’s so dang cute with his long-ish hair and it doesn’t bother him.

My babes are born with an inch of hair. By 9-10 months my son looked like an old man with a bad combover lol

He was 22 months old. I wouldn't have cut but it was bugging him near the ears so we trimmed it.

We had our son’s done at 15 months and took him to the same place my husband goes. He watched daddy get his hair cut first then got his cut. He never lost his hair after birth so it was over his ears and getting in his eyes. He gets it cut about every 6 weeks now.

Mine is 16 months and still hasn’t had one. We want to grow it out to see and then cut it once it bothers him. Plus he can’t sit still for a haircut anyways.
