My mom. 🙄

I made a post last night called “dog drinks his own pee”. Basically, my state is being affected by Hurricane Florence. We aren’t being evacuated but it’s windy and rainy here. Animals know and can sense weather before we do. My dog has been scared to go outside and pee/poop because he can hear it. He’s 13 years old, has hip problems, and can’t see very well. We’ve tried very hard to get him to go outside, (talking in a sweet voice, putting his leash on him, etc.) but nothing is working because he’s too scared. Last night and today, when he’s peed in the house, he will lick up his pee. It makes my mom really angry. I understand that it’s gross and it’s not fun to clean up and so I’ve been helping her as much as I can. Anyway, on my post, some of you commented that he might be ashamed or embarrassed because he knows it’s inappropriate to pee in the house. I tried to explain this to my mom and asked her not to get so angry with him because it might be making it worse. Well, then she just started yelling at me. 🙄 I swear, my parents have the emotional maturity of toddlers. For being 52 and 55. You can’t tell them they did anything slightly wrong without them having a huge emotional reaction. When I spoke to her, I tried to explain what I meant in a calm, polite voice and I was met with anger and shouting.

My mom just came into my room and told me that I “didn’t have to” be mad at HER...? Wtf bitch I was just trying to help you. You didn’t have to yell at me...?!

Others commented that it could be a UTI or a kidney issue, and he does have problems with his kidneys, but I didn’t even get a chance to mention this to my mom before I got cut off 🙄🙄
