I had unprotected sex last weekend. Plus I used a new soap and now I my clitoris is itching like crazy. My big and I have had sex before and this didn’t happen. What could this be? It’s only my clitoris itching nothing else. Could this be a std or something else?

Seems like the soap you should only be washing with water soap can throw off your ph balance and cause infections. Not a bad idea to get tested for STIs though since most have no symptoms

Probably a yeast infection from the soap. It's best to just use hot water when you wash down there. I know it sounds like you're not going to get clean, but harsh soaps can take away the good bacteria, causing you to be more prone to getting yeast infections. And they are sexually transmitable, be sure it's cleared up before engaging in sex, or your SO can get it. Nothing horrible, just more embarrassing to me, personally.

It could be that you're not rinsing the soap off well enough. If there's still ANY soap residue left on that sensitive skin, it'll cause itching. Make sure the soap is safe to use down there, too. You dont wanna mess up your PH.

It honestly could be the new soap! Is it very scented?? I’ve had that happen and went to the doctor, she told me to switch to a less scented soap then I was fine...
