I don't think it's a dumb question, but I know that it was super uncomfortable for me to do that. If you can do it, do it. I wore maternity jeans for weeks after my c-section.

It sounds horrifying to me lol. Maybe try wearing spanks or some kind of compression underwear underneath? I was so swollen even a week after my c section that I stuck to yoga pants, but I guess as long as the incision isn’t being aggravated it would be okay🤷‍♀️
