When will I have another ultrasound?

29 weeks today! I know it probably won’t be anytime soon but I would like to know around what week I’d get another ultrasound?

But you can pay for a 3D! I just did this. I’m 29 weeks today. Had it done yesterday. Just wanted to see her *chubby* face again!!!

I had 2 due to reduced movements and 2 private ones I paid for.

At my office you get 8,12,20,34 weeks scams I got my growth scan (34 week one) done at 30 because they were concerned because I’m still loosing weight and have gotten more because I’m high risk it depends on your situation, your doctor and what your insurance covers

Depends on your doctor, insurance, and risk level. My only ultrasounds were at 11 weeks and 20 weeks. Meanwhile, my sister-in-law gets one every other week.

I had a growth scan at 37 weeks because my OB was concerned about my small belly size. If my belly had been normal, however, I wouldn’t have had to do it. Honestly at 37 weeks I couldn’t really see anything cute because my baby was so big that he didn’t fit in the screen. Unless you’re interested in seeing one leg or one heart cavity at a time, it’s not very interesting. You mentioned your past of previous miscarriage and family members who have had Preeclampsia, but those things wouldn’t necessarily require a late ultrasound. You might have to go in for non-stress tests if your OB is worried about Preeclampsia or other complications, but unless he feels or hears something abnormal in your bi-weekly appointments, then you probably won’t need an ultrasound. Also, most OBs check to make sure your baby has turned and dropped by feeling your abdomen, not with an ultrasound. At 36 weeks my OB told me my son had clearly dropped after poking around on my belly (I couldn’t tell), and she kept checking at every appointment after that.

I’ve been high risk due to past miscarriages and with my families health history with preeclampsia and toxemia when carrying girls. Someone said they’d do one more to make sure she is turned so I was just wondering. Thank you ladies!
