Career change

I apologize if this isn’t the correct board to post to, but I appreciate you reading.

I’m on contract at work until the end of March (which is good because I’ll be delivering in April) but I don’t plan to return to work/look for a job for a while after baby, and I don’t think my current position will become permanent. If I do look for a job, it won’t be in the field I’m working at currently. I’m a first-time mom. I’m considering taking the GRE and then starting to look into going back to school to start a new career path.

My question is this: Did any moms study for their GRE (or similar tests) post-baby? Is it best to take it before baby gets here?

I won’t be going back to school until around Fall of 2020. I just don’t know how manageable studying for the test will be post-baby.
