Vasospasms???

We've had a lot of breastfeeding trouble, baby not gaining weight, my burning nipple pain treated as thrush, etc. Turns out baby had a lip and tongue tie. Anyway, I'm still having nipple pain, not as bad and only burning feelings after/between feeds or pimping.  I was having the pain in my left nipple and opened my nursing bra and my nipple was white! I opened my copy of 'the womanly art of breastfeeding' and in a section on vasospasm it described exactly what just happened! Anyone experience this before? Now that we fixed the source of the trauma, is it likely this will stop soon?
