14lb dog jumped on 3 month (15lb) baby belly

It was an accident—the vacuum spooked the dog so she jumped off the couch and onto his belly where I was nursing him. He cried for about 10 seconds and his tummy is a little red but other than that he seems perfectly fine. Should we take him in? Is this ER worthy or could it wait until his pediatrician office opens in the morning? My husband says we should just watch him. This is my first and his third (previous marriage).
