Did rice cereal make your baby sleep better or worse?

My baby sleeps through out the night when we don’t give her rice cereal and if we do she is constantly waking up.. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but I really think it’s the rice cereal

It’s been proven that giving cereal doesn’t help them sleep. 
Also, it’s not good to feed them cereal too young or in attempt to get them to sleep, it will throw off their ‘im full’ instinct. Babies aren’t emotional eaters, they eat when hungry. Not to sleep longer.

My children were suddenly starving and waking up every 2 - 3 hours to eat when we gave them rice cereal before bed. They usually sleep 5 to 6 stretches without it. I gave up on that idea 😂

My daughter does sleep longer when she is given a rice cereal bottle before bed. All babies are different. If it’s to thick, she doesn’t sleep well. I have to find the right amount for her. If it doesn’t seem to work for you and your baby, try something different! Just have to make sure to burp them well after a cereal bottle. My daughter has woken up to just burp. I burp her for about 30 minutes after a cereal bottle now, that has helped !

Can’t buy rice cereal here (at least never seen it) but he sleeps better it seems when he have some oatmeal in the evenings, easier to get to sleep and in general more happy.

It seems like the cereal makes them want more food more often actually. With my son he was a good sleeper all together but my daughter that was a different story lol
