6 months of TTC with Endo

I had laparoscopy and was diagnosed with stage 2 endo at the end of March. My hubby and I started trying right after surgery and my dr said to try ttc for 6 months and if I wasn’t pregnant by then to come in and get tests. I also got off birth control in March and since then I have had long cycles. Before the pill and while I was on the pill my cycle was super regular and a normal length. Next week will be 6 months, should I go see my dr or just keep trying? Also has anyone else been told to come in after 6 months? It seems like it’s always after a year...
