I just need to vent about my practice! 😩

*i am 20 weeks + 5 days w identical twins

So I started at this practice @ 6 weeks, my 1st doctor (we’ll name her Dr. A) I explained I made an early appt bc I’m pregnant again 2 weeks after my miscarriage & I was worried. She talked down to me like she was completely judging and pretty much stating between the lines that I wasn’t pregnant again. So she had me do blood work and said we won’t do an ultrasound until I’m 8+ weeks. Well after my blood work came back, they wanted to do an ultrasound @ 7 weeks (okay?) I then found out I was pregnant with twins!

Then I was scheduled for my 8 week prenatal appt with the 2nd doctor (we’ll name him Dr. B). He explained he wanted me to go somewhere else more experienced w twins for just my ultrasounds once I reach 20 weeks and beyond. He also said i will be having ultrasounds every 4 weeks, then every 2 weeks, then every week as my pregnancy progresses since it’s twins.

3rd appt was with Dr. C, just a normal routine appt.

4th appt was with Dr. A again, i asked about my chart to see again where I was to schedule my next ultrasound since I’d be 20 weeks. She said why would you go somewhere else? There’s nothing on my chart that says that, I can continue going where I’m going. (hmmm, now I’m a little frustrated)

5th appt with Dr. A again, I mentioned this again and also asked when will I start doing ultrasounds every 2 weeks Instead of 4. Once again she was NOT on the page with the Dr. B. She then just started making me feel like an inconvenience the whole time and didn’t answer my questions. I was just trying to know what to expect in the future especially since I’m being told different things by different doctors in the practice! And it’s hard for me to verify these things bc they haven’t been putting anything on my charts since I started other than it’s twins.

So I am now switching because I need doctors on the same page and doctors who want to actually give the care needed for my babies and I. There’s 5 doctors in this practice so I could have the chance to new ones yet and will have to continue keeping track of everything myself and keep explaining my situation. I don’t believe that’s right!?

Thanks for reading if you got this far! I am just so frustrated at the practice and believe that theres a high chance they can make some crucial mistakes for the babies and mommas if they continue the way they run things and not be on the same page with each other 😕
