Baby’s father’s side

I am so sick and tired of being judged by my baby’s father’s side. It’s annoying being judged for what I do and for what I don’t do. Doesn’t matter what I do, it’s like I’m always a target.

My baby’s father commented on how his little sister didn’t like me because I made a comment about him sleeping on the floor if he didn’t build our child’s bassinet or crib soon. He said she’s all about being nice and blah blah blah. First of all, we have 2 weeks left until the baby is here. I have been asking him to clear out space for where the bassinet/crib would be since months ago. I told him if he didn’t have time to build anything then just move the heavy furniture out of my way and I would build it myself. No big deal. But of course, she doesn’t know the whole story and finds another reason to dislike me. He’s like “she’s just starting to dislike you” and I’m like “nah dude, you told me she has never liked me from the beginning. Like don’t even.”

Then he makes a comment on how his mom is starting to dislike me and compares me to her other son’s gf. She says that we are both lazy and don’t like to do anything for our baby’s father. And I’m like “if by being lazy she means holding the bills down, taking care of the kids because her sons aren’t able to, and doing what we need to for our families then by all means call me lazy.” Maybe raise your own children better before you go judging others?

He then asks me how we’re going to co parent in the future because he doesn’t think we’ll last. Like why the fuck did it take you 8 years to decide that we’re not right for each other? Why wait until you get pregnant me to decide that we aren’t going to last? I’m just at my wits end on how to approach these people. It’s like I want to say something, but I don’t want to bother because it’s a waste of my breath. Just had to rant and get this off of my chest.
