Shortened Cervix.
I had my anatomy scan Friday (9-21) and got a call from my doctor today that they noticed I have a shortened cervix. They already had to reschedule me from another ultrasound because baby boy didn’t wait to let them measure his head and spine, instead he wanted to keep his head down in my hip/back area. That is this coming Friday (9-28) and now they will also be doing a transvaginal ultrasound that day as well to get more precise measurements of my cervix. My doctor told me that I’m now considered at risk for early labor, with this being my first baby I’m so paranoid now. I’m basically coming here to ask if any other women have went though this? What is it like? Did you carry your baby to term? If not how far did you carry?
