The name Raylan for a boy?

My husband and I love the FX show “Justified” and the main character is a US Marshal names Raylan. The character is male. We fell in love with that name years ago and are considering it if we have a boy. However, I have concerns about it being perceived as too feminine, given the popularity of the feminine name Raelynn (which interestingly, I don’t really like for a girl). Thoughts?

The "y" makes me think girl, but the "an" has me thinking boy. But "Ray" is a boy name... hmm. I say neutral because it confuses me lol, but if I was a teacher trying to figure it out before meeting him, I would think probably a boy.
