IUD came out

So a couple days ago I was feeling for the strings of my Jaydess IUD, I've been having really weird pain and pressure and weird discharge for a while, as well as spotting every time I had alcohol or tylenol or any blood thinner I guess. The strings were really hard to find because they kept moving around, so I tugged and it just came out. Only had it in since April. Can they put those back in, or maybe I shod try a different method? I kept feeling like I had an infection that would never go away and didnt test positive for any of the usual suspects... advice?
