Painfull breasts

For a week now my breast have been causing me alot of pain. I can't sleep on them, lay on my sides even rubbing my arms against them kills me a little in the inside. I have taken pregnancy test the are all negative and it's not my period so I looked something things up and came across.

Fibrocystic breast disease

It says women with PCOS can have these breast mass. And I made a appointment for next Tuesday but just curious did anyone else experience this or have any other ideas what could be the cause of this
