Private ultrasound?

Has anyone gone to a private ultrasound center to have one done? My doctor doesn’t do early scans but I want to see the heartbeat and make sure everything is ok. Anyone have experience with ultrasound outside of doctors office?

Ladies quit getting unnecessary ultrasounds 🤦🏻‍♀️ they’re not a 100% safe procedure - some research has raised concerns that it can have negative impact on the baby.

That’s why I’m hesitant and probably won’t. If it was necessary my doctor would have ordered one.

I had a private scan last week at 8 weeks + 1 day. My doc isn’t seeing me until I’m almost 10 weeks so the wait was killing me. It was $50 but so incredibly worth it!

I haven't yet, but we will for gender. Most places around here want you to be able 8-9 weeks before their reassurance checks.
