Should I be worried?

My doctor told me that my uterus is the size of 50 weeks I'm 37 weeks and 5 days with twins and I'm dialited at 1cm and 60 efficiency and was having contractions but couldn't feel them. He said if I sneeze,cough or have sex I'll go in labor

Honestly I would be worried about baby’s size. But At 37 weeks you are considered full term... start coughing girl lol

Did he say that’s normal for twins? To be measuring that big? I thought that’s to be expected?

Your doctor sounds old school. I wouldn’t worry that much and you’re technically to term since you’re carrying twins. My uterus has always measured way ahead of how pregnant I am/was and is an extremely inaccurate way of measuring since every woman can measure differently at the same gestation. I was huge with my second daughter and she was only 6 pounds. I wouldn’t put much weight (no pun intended) into how big you’re measuring.

37 weeks is full term anyway, so I wouldn’t be too worried also considering you’re having twins you should be measuring bigger anyway, every woman is different! It’s impressive that you’re having twins and made it this far congrats!!

I had my son at 36 weeks by emergency c section and he was fine. 37 week babies are almost full term. I would just be on bed rest and watch signs like back pain, water breaking, muscus plug anything that can be early labor and go to the hospital. Dont be worried your almost there and going to have your babies soon. Congrats
