IUD Insertion

So I’m getting the IUD next week and I would just like some insight. So stupid me watch a virtual video of how it’s inserted and now I’m freaked out. I get cysts in/on my uterus due to stress and can’t do internal ultrasounds because of it. I’m worried that it’s going to hurt more than the average person because of this. But my doctor said in the long run that it will help with all of this. I’m just worried about the initial insertion. Can they just knock me out? Or give me something so I’m out of it. I know I need it but I’m really scared. Help!
