Nipple piercings

Okay for my 21st Birthday I’m thinking of getting my nipples pierced. So I guess what I’m wondering is about the breastfeeding thing when and if I get pregnant and have kids. Like how would it work? Can I still breastfeed? I’ve heard so many “horror stories” not just about breastfeeding, about nipple piercings in general. I don’t know what to believe. No judgmental and rude comments please.
