Coming forward after sexual assault

j

Should more (all) women come forward after sexual assault?

I 1000% believe that most go unreported (it happened to me twice, I did not report either one). Women have a million reasons not to report- and it in no way makes the crime any less, or makes it like it "never happened".

BUT, if women came forward more often, do you think (at least eventually) it would help make sexual assault a) easier to talk about b) less prevalent c) more widely prosecuted (as in people actually getting punished for their actions)??

I guess my question is: if ALL were reported, would it lead to those things eventually, would it help with things like victim shaming eventually (like within a decade, even), or not?
