Extremely scared and worried please give as much advice as possible..

So I'm 31 weeks pregnant and since 28 weeks I've been told baby is measuring small. Below the 5th centile. Had an app with my consultant today and she said I have to come in 3 times a week for monitoring and growth scan every 2 weeks. She said that baby hasn't grown much and might need to deliver early. I had a steroid shot today and due another tomorrow. How likely is it that I will have to deliver early? Has anyone been in this situation?
