My ex screwed me

So my ex and i where together for3 yrs and lived together for a yr. Well a lot has happened when we started living together that i just had enough and left. Anywho all the bills where in my name like the electric and gas and he screwed me over and my credit is terrible. Let me mind you we have a almost 2 yr old daughter together so i was the stay at home parent also he has custody of his daughter. He said he'd pay the bills but everything was late. Anyways my question is. How do i did my credit. Well i ever be able to put my name for electric or gas ever again.

For got to add they were only in my name because his mother screwed him over ib the cable bill. So he has bad credit
