Homophobia is real
So I'm bisexual but I'm in a heterosexual relationship (with someone who happens to be bi too). I was planning on being honest with my friends and trying to be more open about it because it sucks to keep it all in but then I realised how people are really uncomfortable with it. A teacher at my school was saying how lesbians are gross, I've heard guys say that gay people shouldn't come near them (not a guy but I still hate homophobia) and my friends who are girls think girls being with girls is disgusting. It's quite fucked up. Also everyone in my area is very traditional and relatively religious. I'm not with a girl but it still hurts that I'd be judged for something I can't help.
