Working Parents (outside of the home): how many convertible car seats?

Question

My husband and I both have vehicles and he does the daycare morning drop off and I do pick up. We are considering buying a second convertible car seat… what do you all do? Do you share one car seat and leave it at daycare for the other parent to install it at pick up? Did you go ahead and purchase a second car seat for convenience? Thanks!

When we had the carrier we each had a base and the one carrier but now that she’s bigger we each have a seat in our cars.

I never even considered not having a seat for each car. I can’t even imagine lugging around a convertible seat everyday.

Both our cars have a seat for each kid. It’s just so much easier than having to bounce one seat back and forth.

Each car has there own carseat, and then we have an extra one incase someone else has to pick up or drop off

I would think uninstalling would get annoying, at least it would for me. My husband and I have a convertible carseat for our son in each of our cars. We both have a base for our daughter and when she's bigger we'll both have a convertible for her as well. My mom has two convertible car seats for both babes.

I have way to many. My car, dads car, MIL car, my dads, my stepmoms, my moms, my sisters.. 
I only bought 1 car seat 🤷🏽‍♀️

We have two vehicles, I have two carseats in my car and he has two in his car. 
We found it was annoying having to uninstall the car seats and reinstall them in the car were going in.

I have 4 seats being used right now. My car, nannies, papas and grandpas.
