Bad baby food??

So I bought the parents choice glass jar baby food. I open the jar and the baby food is in like a still clump. Is this bad?

Looks like it just needs mixed around. Probably just how the product settled. So long as it doesn’t smell bad and is within the expiration date it’s good to eat.

The date is 22 Jan 2020. It clicked when I opened it but it’s sooo stiff and nasty looking. I just threw it away.

Could be because it is stage 2 and so they don't blend them completely to get the baby used to chewing up some things. I remember other veggies doing the same but were fine when my son ate baby food
