Mamas with brown eyes & green/blue eyed partners.. What color are your kid's eyes?

I'm currently pregnant and I have brown eyes, but my partner (and most of his family) has beautiful green eyes. I'm now just curious as to how many babies came out with light eyes as well!

Brown eyes is the genetic dominant trait which makes it highly likely for your kids to have brown eyes (eventually). They may start off blue/green at birth.

I have green eyes, and all of my family has green or blue eyes. However, my husband has brown eyes, his father does, and his mother had hazel eyes. Both my children have green/blue eyes so far (1 and 2) so we’re 2 for 2 so far lol. I’m curious to see what this 3rd baby will have.

SO has brown eyes and I have green/hazel. DD has sky blue eyes just like some of the people on my mother-in-law's side. Never thought she would, but they are gorgeous! She is a little over 2 years old now.

Green eyes don't actually exist. It's a effect of the light on the cells of the iris that arent aligned straight. Green eyes would be brown if the cells were aligned correctly. I have green and hubs has brown with green hues. Baby's eyes are a swirly chocolate brown color. The color isn't consistantly. They look cool.
