How helpful is husband/dad?

Just curious what people would rank their partner as when it comes to helping with the new baby

New baby - helps when I ask. Older kids - always helps

He is usually good about helping when I ask but typically I do most of it because it is easier. For example, he would feed her in the middle of the night so I could sleep but then would wake me up to get her swaddled again and back to sleep. Or the other night he gave her a bath but I had to be there because he was nervous he would do something wrong. 😂 I know he will do more for her when she is older. He tells me all the time that he will take her everywhere with him so they can do fun stuff together and I can have time to myself.

My SO helps as much as he can and I really appreciate it. I take care of her during the day so he can sleep/work and then he will take the night shift so I can sleep. It’s been changing because the little one sleeps 5-6 hours at night now, but it’s still really helpful that if she does wake up he will take care of her. On his days off we both take care of her and have started going on family walks with her and our fur baby.

My hubby helps as much as possible. I breastfeed so most the time baby needs me. But my hubby has picked up in the chores and cooking department. He also takes care of the baby while I work 12 hour shifts Saturdays and Sunday’s

I don’t give my husband enough credit for what he does do. I guess when it comes to letting me catch up on sleep, he sucks in that department. Otherwise he would be great with the changes he has made with this baby.

Same... with our little girl he helps when I ask or when he doesn't want to hear her crying/whining & I'm busy.. but when it comes to our 2 year old he's usually ontop of it..he does bath time & bed time with him so that helps ALOT!
