Also are you breastfeeding? Breastfeeding can delay your period until after you’re done. Some women still get it but I didn’t get my period until my daughter was about 16/17 months old and I started the wearing process.

Yup. All 4 of my births I got my first period at 8 weeks pp. Which means I ovulated for the first time around 6 weeks pp (and I breastfed). You don't know when you ovulate for the first time post birth but yeah it can definitely happen at 6 weeks.
