Sooo... my husband really wants to do anal and I am down to try but I'm afraid of a few things:
-he's very well endowed. What if my butt doesn't go back to normal or I tear?!!!
-what if poop comes out during?!!! I would be mortified!!!
-we've tried before, he got part way in and it hurts! And feels like I might poop!

First of all, if you’ not into it, don’t force yourself to do it, it won’t be pleasant. However, if you want to or don’t mind here are some things that I think make it better.
-Yes, obviously lots of lube. So much, like almost too much. 
-DP (double penetration) either when your starting up, or whiles he’s in there and going at it. Have him get a finger or something up in your 🐱 it helps take the focus off your backside and relaxes you a lot more.
-It takes practice before you find what position works best for you and makes it the most comfortable. Maybe it’s on your side, or on your back, or on your hands and knees. 🤷🏼‍♀️
-As long as you use lube, and keep things to a reasonable level, you shouldn’t tear open. However you may feel a little sensitive there the next day.
-All feeling are normal, if I know that my husband or myself wants to do it I try to watch what I eat in the day/don’t eat later/make sure I go to the bathroom and take a shower before we become intimate for that night. 
-And always, just start with the tip, you will know the difference from when it feels like your trying to poke at hole that’s sewn shut or your slowly entering and expanding that hole as he gets further in.

There are also lubes which have a numbing/relaxing quality made specifically for anal. You may have to go to a toy shop and pick some up, or you can order some from one of the companies that do in home toy parties. The best advice is to use copious amounts of lube, be turned on as much as possible, and to relax. So often it comes down to a mental block.
