Our youngest daughter is almost 9 months and still breastfeeding. We just found out we are expecting again due June 1st. With our oldest I breast fed until she turned one and then let her wean herself. She stopped breastfeeding at 14 months. So the youngest and new baby will be about 16 months apart. My plan was to let her wean herself as well. My question is has anyone ever had two this closely and breast fed continually for 2 years +? Also, if my little one weans herself before the next one arrives should I keep pumping to maintain a supply? Just wondering if that might make cluster feeding less hectic if I already have a decent supply. Any other mammas in this boat have suggestions?
