Spotting or light flow?

I had light pink when I wiped. I assumed it was my period starting, had that look to it, so logged as light. I checked my cervix and had a little brown/rust colored cm. Nothing since. Should I keep this logged as light, or switch it to spotting? It did not look like my normal spotting, looked like if my period was actually starting, just a small amount. Spotting would make more sense since I am only 13dpo and typically go to 14 or 15dpo befor af shows. My body is confusing me.
