Hi okay so Im 16 and in my friend group we have a big mix of guys and girls. I've met these people 3 years ago but theyve known each other ever since elementary mostly. My friend (gabby) has liked this guy (josh) for almost 3-4 years but he has NEVER liked her back or flirted, he would just kindly decline her without hurting her feelings. Gabby would, and sometimes still does, go back to liking him. And he stays the same by not liking him. Gabby is the sweetest girl and is a little sensitive. Josh is caring and honest.

And now the hard part....I think I'm starting to like Josh. He and I have been talking (just conversations when we see each other) we make fun of each other. He brings me food and we're just casual friends now. Idk why I started liking him but I just do.

To clarify: Gabby does NOT currently like anyone, not even josh but i feel like if i tell her or she sees me getting closer to josh, he will be upset.

Now in the past I had my (ex)best friends date my actual ex's right after they said they didnt want to be friends anymore so i know what it feels like to have your back stabbed by a close friend. Im not the type to do that at all.

Im not crazy about josh but i do feel attracted to him. So what should i do? Ould i flirt with him cautiously and be honest with gabby OR hold back and not hurt gabby's feelings since im not 100%sure on him??
