Need insight

Hello all - first pregnancy here. I am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant today. Starting on Monday evening I had some spotting - FREAKED - then learned it was pretty normal. Up until this morning it had stayed in the realm of “no need to panic.” This morning the cramping has increased - it’s around an avg period day 2/3 for me and so has the blood. Still not full force but scarier. And this is probably TMI but my BM this morning was also very period like.

Guessing I should call my doctor but was hoping someone out there experienced this and went on to a normal pregnancy.
