Posting pictures of my children without my consent 😡

LONG in-law POST.....So my in-laws are extremely active on fb, post and share anything they possibly can.

I have a 2yr old son and baby #2 is due early January. They have been posting pictures of my 2yr old son and sonograms of my unborn baby on social media without my consent. The sonograms contain personal information about me, the clinic and my baby. These are pictures and sonograms that I have not posted on any social media platform, because of the personal nature of these pictures. If I wanted to post it on social media, I would have done it myself. This is not the first time that we have had problems due to their activities/post on social media.

So I had a discussion with my husband to talk to his parents, which he did not do. I had enough today and sent both a message asking them to respect me as the mother to ask before posting anything. My husband is livid that I sent his parents a message. He agrees with my argument about them posting pictures of our boys without asking, but is angry that I did not give him enough time to talk to his parents and that I have just started WW3. I gave him 3 days to sort this out...so my QUESTION: Am I being ridiculous about them posting pictures on social media without my consent? What are your views on other people posting pictures of your children on social media?
