Temperature drop?

Is it normal for my temp to drop when pregnant? I have usually been temping in the afternoon and it’s around 99.6-99.8 but this morning I temped and it was 98.6.... is that normal? (This is not bbt by the way, just a regular oral thermometer)

Regular thermometer and afternoon temping aren’t going to help you as so much changes your temp throughout the day. You need a BBT thermometer and have to check before you get out of bed or even move much at all for it to be accurate for tracking trends. But to answer your question, generally temp drops before you get your period, not if you’re pregnant

Temps change so much during the day, especially orally as having your mouth open beforehand can drastically change the temp. 
I wouldn't pay any attention to those temps tbh. You need to do it at the same time every day for it to be accurate... And temp goes up after O and stays high when pregnant 😀
