WEDDING QUESTION!!

Hi y’all, first of all two things my fiancé and I LOVE are the beach and Halloween. We just recently got engaged on the beach and want to make it even more perfect by getting married there as well! 😍 however we live about 15 hours away from said beach and we have our hearts set on it! As much as we would ABSOLUTELY love for all of our loved ones to join us there, we understand that just isn’t financially possible for a lot of them- we have actually decided to pay for a very small intimate group of our closest friends and family to join us there on our special day (max 15 people) however we still want to celebrate and have a little after the destination wedding celebration (or reception if you wish, just not as fancy!) since we absolutely love Halloween we were even thinking about having the beach destination wedding and then a few weeks later having an adult Halloween party just to celebrate with everyone else who didn’t go! Is this weird being as it’s not all completely Halloween themed? I don’t want to even call it really a “reception” just more of a backyard get together celebrating our marriage with our loved ones- and why the hell not make it a Halloween party at the same time 😂😂 HONEST thoughts please- am I doing too much or could this actually work?! No speeches, first dances, or cake. Just food, drinks, and loved ones! Gifts wouldn’t be asked for or expected at all, however knowing my family and friends we would still be receiving them anyway (only adding that because a lot of people feel like having a reception after a destination wedding is just so that the couple can get gifts from people that weren’t actually invited, but that’s not how I feel about it at all 🙁 just wanna celebrate with EVERYONE! ❤️
