Got home from work and he needed to borrow my phone because his is broken. While I'm cooking dinner he comes out of the bathroom, pissed off.

Me:"What's wrong?"

Him:"Your text to your friend upset me."

Me:"What did I text?"

Him:"You thought Max is cute."

I had a private conversation with my friend saying that a guy that me and her used to be friends (never dated ior had anything sexuao with him) with from 7 years ago is cute and left it at that. Didn't say I wanted to sleep with him, didn't say he's hot, sexy, just cute, that's it.

I got defensive because why can he make comments about women but the second I do he gets pissed? He's insecure but it shouldn't come off like he's controlling me.
