Breastfeeding struggles

Ugh so ive been in a rut for quite some time now. Ive been exclusively breast feesing for 9 months on wednesday and for about 5 months of it now ive dealt with pain and itchiness and burning sensations in my nipples and breast tissue on both sides. Ive been given medications for mastitis and currently taking diflucan for yeast incase its a yeast infection. Ive also tried "crunchy" ways (old folk ways) including high dosage of vitamin c daily for a week. Gentian violet for a week. Oils and everything inbetween. Yet I'm still having pain in the deep tissue of my breast as well as right below my nipples. In the tissue area. My doctor is at a loss of what to do. Hes going to send me to a breast specialist and LC and see if they can shed some light or solve this mystery once and for all.

It kills me to breastfeed. But I'm not giving up now

Has anyone dealt with this or have any tips/ideas what could be the cause?
