Colostrum question
Does colostrum benefit toddlers in any way? My daughter is 16 months and I failed with breastfeeding her for only a short week. I’m pregnant with our second and started harvesting the colostrum that I leak (midwives advise of this in the UK, I know it’s not exactly heard of elsewhere). My fiancé thinks it’s a nice idea to give our daughter some of the colostrum in a medicine syringe that I produce but I wasn’t sure if it’s even beneficial for her age? I feel a little awkward about it and I’m not sure why as many mums still breastfeed their kids at this age and older... I gave her a tiny bit and she wanted more but I’m unsure
