FTM help pls

My 7 week old... sleeps all day and when he's up all he wants is his binky and if he doesn't have the binky he just cries and cries until he falls back asleep why is my baby so unhappy I try to entertain him n play with him but he just stares around the room I receive a smile every now and then... he does suffer from acid reflux and he takes medicine twice a day for it and he's on similac alimentum... he doesn't reach for anything or show any interest in anything... how can I make him happier he's been to the doctor several times the last time we found out he has acid reflux... he depends on that darn binky n if it comes out his mouth he cries and eventually screams an closes his eyes to search for it... idk why he closes his eyes to look for it... he co-sleeps with us... I'm not alone it's two of us experiencing this together I just want a happy baby a giggly baby a active baby and I want him off that pacifier I'm tired of replacing it every 5 mins it falls out his mouth... please mom's help
