PCOS and TTC

Megan

Hello all,

I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS. We conceived our daughter after a year and a half with no help. We had the mindset that it would happen when it was meant to be. This time around we are every much actively trying. We began in March. I have been taking OPKs regularly with not a single positive 😪 I reached out to my OB several months ago after my cycle lasted 60+ days. She prescribed me a round of progesterone, I got my period and went for lab work to check ovulation. At that time she called with the results being no ovulation, suggested my symptoms were consisting with PCOS and ordered metformin. I have been taking metformin for almost a month and am currently on cycle day 45 with a negative pregnancy test. 😪 she discussed possibly trying clomid if the metformin did not help to regulate my cycle. I’m feeling like things will never happen, although I know my body ovulated at least once in its life 🙄😂 it’s just so hard to have such irregular cycles with no signs of ovulation. I placed a call to my OB today and I’m hoping she will order more progesterone and clomid. Anyone have similar experiences?
