Someone please ease my mind about this
I’m VERY against cigarettes especially when it comes to smelling like them around my baby. My mother has “secretly” been smoking since I was a baby, said she’d stop but never did. Well I have my own little one now, my daughter is freshly a year old and I don’t want her to be around it, not even the smell.
Well my mom babysits for me from when my daughter wakes up (around 7am) until I get out of work which is 12-1pm. I go in at 3am so she doesn’t babysit the whole time technically. And I know that she goes outside multiple time a day while I’m gone to smoke. I’m disgusted honestly. What should I do? What CAN I do? I clearly can’t put my daughter in daycare if I start working at 3 am. It’s just gross and hurtful that she lies & hides it and my daughter is around the smell all day
Ps. & talking to her about it won’t help, she’ll just get defensive, cry, leave the room and it’ll be awkward between us for a few days
