PCOS has a range of diagnostic patterns and there isn't a single determining factor as everyone is different.  Funny thing is it is hard for doctors to diagnose.  The more common form of PCOS has male baldness pattern,  hair in manly places such as chest, chin, beard, sideburns, many women are overweight due to insulin resistance which can lead to diabetes.  I have all the symptoms except I forced myself to lose weight therefore eliminating diabetes but keeping the weight off is a huge struggle.  PCOS comes with ovarian cysts which can either alter your cycles or cause ovulatory dysfunctions.  There is no cure for PCOS only ways to manage it.  Many women get it under control and carry babies....  Either way you need to see a specialist so that you can find out what's causing your symptoms.
