Feeling hopeful!

After a year of trying, a miscarriage, countless tears, and switching my OB I’m FINALLY getting answers. My last OB would hear nothing that I said my concerns were just that. I got no help no guidance no answers. Instead I was told that I was obese and my weight was my issue that because I was overweight I wouldn’t get pregnant. I was told I would have to lose 100 lbs just to even have a chance... no testing was done to see if I might have PCOS or endometriosis. She just tested my thyroid.. all of my tests came back well in the normal zone. I got pregnant just fine WITH my weight it just wasn’t a sticky bean for whatever reason.

Cut forward to 8 months after my miscarriage I called my original OB to get an appointment to start getting answers. Their response? Oh it hasn’t been a year since the miscarriage we’ll wait a few more months and see what happens. She does want to know how your weight is?? That. Ladies was my last straw! So I called an OB that was recommended to me by my IT guy and his wife.

My VERY first visit he made a plan. We talked I told him all of my concerns and he listened. It hasn’t even been a month and I have the answers I needed 6 months ago...

I have regular periods but it seems my body doesn’t ovulate like I thought it did. He listened when I told him how desperately I want a little one. He listened and provided me with answers. He listened and came up with a plan. Next month I will be starting on clomid. Next month I will have a chance to get my rainbow baby. It’s been a long time coming but I can finally start being hopeful again. It’s not perfect news but it’s something. It’s a step closer to becoming a mom.

I apologize for the long story. I just needed to vent and express my happiness somewhere that’s not facebook. I’ve attached a picture as well. I’m on the left and have lost 15 lbs.
