Random Positive OPK ? Help!

Hi gals,

I just started TTC a month ago and just started using OPKs mid cycle. The lines were getting darker for a couple days (still neg) until one morning BAM— super positive LH surge. But then I double (and triple) checked with less obvious results. And now (a day later) it is negative also. Could that one positive just have been a fluke??? Or could I have possibly just had a super short LH surge??

(Also I just got off birth control 2 months ago after literally being on it for 15 years, sooo. Does that make a difference possibly??)
