Milk Bar closing 🙅🏻‍♀️

Has anyone else stopped breastfeeding cold turkey? I’m pregnant and my 16 month old is still hooked to the boob. 🙄 He mostly only nurses to sleep and at night and I’ve tried talking to his doctor and they say just stop cold turkey.

Last night I nursed him to sleep and then refused him to comfort nurse all night and it went fairly well. He had one true crying fit but he went back to sleep.

I hate to quit breastfeeding because of being pregnant, but it’s time to stop for us. I hate it and it makes me not want to breastfeeding for the next one if this continues. Mentally it’s draining me. And I just can’t do it anymore.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for ending it this way?
