Used crib mattress?

I'm buying a used crib but replacing the mattress (I just don't trust used mattresses.) What do I do with the used mattress? Is there any option other than throwing it away?

You could donate it. Use it as a per bed. Or try to give it away on fb market place. Not everyone can afford a new mattress.

Sell it on offer up that’s what I did and a guy bought it to make a big bed for his dog
